Manager of Research
Joe is an 18-year veteran in the investment field, working primarily with investment consulting firms. As FiduciaryVest’s Manager of Research, Joe develops capital market assumptions, builds asset allocation models using @Risk, and designs custom target date funds. Annually, he speaks with hundreds of investment managers, while directing the due diligence process of investment manager evaluation for both traditional and alternative asset classes. He also helps pension and custom target date clients improve portfolio returns at the margin by applying the dynamic rebalancing system he helped develop.
Before joining FiduciaryVest, Joe focused on financial modeling and process automation at such firms as Clark Consulting, Arthur Andersen, Watson Wyatt (Towers Watson), and BME Investment Partners. Joe completed his undergraduate education at Georgia Tech, earning a degree in industrial engineering. He then went on to earn an M.B.A. focused in investment from Santa Clara University, where he also served as a graduate research assistant in real estate investing. In 2013, Joe completed the CAIA program and obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
