Gregg Buckalew

Gregg’s career includes 36 years in finance and investment consulting to corporate sponsors of employee benefit programs, insurance pools and debt-servicing programs. In addition to his background in corporate investment, he also specializes in creation of investment asset programs for foundations, hospitals and endowments.

During his extensive career, Gregg served as a senior vice president with Clark Consulting, leading its U.S. investment consulting practice and a similar national leadership position with Arthur Andersen during its final seven years. He also spent nine years as one of four national directors of Watson Wyatt Worldwide Investment Consulting (now Willis Towers Watson). Prior to that, Gregg also spent 12 years as partner-in-charge of Coopers & Lybrand’s (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) Actuarial, Benefits & Compensation Group, southern region.

Gregg holds a B.S. degree from Tulane University’s Arts & Sciences college, is a certified public accountant (CPA), and a CFA® Charterholder. One of his favorite professional duties is writing. For 30 years, he has served his various firms as senior writer and editor of quarterly investment research and market commentaries, and he has contributed articles to published investment magazines.

An enthusiast of the performing and visual arts, almost every week you can find Gregg applauding symphony and opera performances in Atlanta and, occasionally, New York. He has cultivated a passion for photography, major league baseball and foreign travel.
